Is it confidential?
Your request is anonymized: professionals see neither your name nor your contact details, and only receive them once you accept their proposal. Your information is kept in Québec, and you can unsubscribe in one click.
Who are the professionals?
Members in good standing of a Québec professional order (psychologists, social workers, psychoeducators, etc.), whose right to practise is verified by PsyPsy before their account is activated.
Is PsyPsy open?
Yes, since 16 September 2026. You can create your account and submit a request right away. If you are a professional, your account activates as soon as we have verified your right to practise with your order; we email you when that happens.
Is it really free?
Creating your account is free, and will stay free. Posting a request is also free during the launch period; after that, posting will become paid, at a modest rate, announced in advance and never retroactive. Sessions are settled directly with the professional, at the rate they set. For professionals, registration and matching are free and will stay free.
How long does a request stay active?
A request stays active for 30 days and can be extended at any time. It can be marked as fulfilled or withdrawn whenever the person wishes.
Is PsyPsy an emergency service?
No. PsyPsy is a matching service, not a care or emergency service. If you are in immediate distress, call 911 or 988 (suicide prevention line).
